We travel a lot, and we sometimes come back with the feeling of having consumed one more country. We saw the monuments, we tasted the food, we brought back the photos, but we left without truly meeting the place.

We tried the so-called local experiences, the workshops offered by hotels, the cooking classes with host families. We loved them, sometimes. But we also felt that they had been set up for us.

Places we can't reach on our own, because we don't know anyone, because we don't speak the language, because we wouldn't even know how to ask.
